4.conducive  adj.有助于…的，促成…的

【例】Jogging is wonderfully conducive to health.

5.revolve  v．（使）旋转．（使）绕转：考虑，深思
【记】词根记忆：re(一再)+volv(卷)+e--不断滚动--旋转，绕转
【例】The Earth revolves both round the Sun and on its own axis.

The manager revolved the financial problem in his mind.

6.lever  n．杠杆；手段 vt.用杠杆撬动

7.recede  v．后退，退去
【记】词根记忆：re(回)+ced（走）+e--走回去--后退
【例】As the threat of attack receded, the village returned to normal.
进攻的威胁退去了，村子恢复了正常。

8.satisfactory   adj.令人满意的，良好的，圆满的
【记】词根记忆：satis(足够)+fact(做)+ory--做得足够好--令人满意的
【例】Some parents, if allowed, might let their children stay at home because they don't find conventional education satisfactory.
